Avanti has both paired villas (two residential units share a solid concrete wall) as well as condos. One nice difference about Afanti's condos is that the 2nd floor is concrete block construction, while others in the area may have wood frame construction on the 2nd floor. Concrete block is more resistant to storms and wood destroying organisms, and will give you more sound protection.
Avanti is still under construction, but pre-sales have begun. Don't go it alone! You have a lot of choice in the Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota areas. New construction homes never cost more than the builder's advertised price, when you're working with your own Realtor.
