Besides The Palisades, which as of this writing has just begun sales, Woodleaf Hammock, built by M/I Homes, is coming soon.
Google Maps doesn't like the location of Woodleaf Hammock. The easiest way to get there is to take Lakewood Ranch Blvd. and head north of SR 70. Turn right (east) on Gateway Drive, or where you see the sign for model homes for Arbor Grande. Woodleaf Hammock is just to the north of Arbor Grande.
As with most new homes in Lakewood Ranch, there likely will be a CDD fee. They are building a somewhat modest club house and community pool, and the community will be maintenance free. Expect HOA fees between $200 and $300 per month. I'll update this blog when more information is available.
Woodleaf Hammock is in a great location if you have a family and want to take advantage of A rated schools and still have easy access to Tampa or downtown St. Pete. There will be a trail that connects to Lakewood Ranch's 150+ mile trail system.
Remember, new homes cost the same when you're working with your own Realtor. I can show you homes in Lakewood Ranch as well as The West Villages in Venice FL, 2 of the top 5 selling master planned communities in the country.
