It seems everyone wants a new home, so you have a new choice in Lakewood Ranch: Sapphire Point.
Sapphire Point is built by Pulte, and you'll probably recognize some of the floor plans that will be available here. I attended their model home grand opening, which attracted almost 500 people on a Sunday afternoon. Pulte also owns DiVosta Homes, builder of Mallory Park, as well as several communities in Sarasota and Venice.
There seems to be a trend by the builders to limit the number of model homes. There are 2 reasons: time and cost. Combine a labor and building material shortage and the time it takes to build a model home (when they could be building your next home instead), and the chances are good that you'll be directed to other communities to see different floor plans.
