Not surprisingly, Lakewood Ranch sales increased in the first three months of the year over last year, according to a recent article by the Sarasota Herald Tribune. Buyer traffic is up 10%, and 417 homes sold represents a 7% increase. This is across all Lakewood Ranch villages, whether resales or new homes or condos.
Some of this increase I suspect is due to the addition of new villages such as The Isles at Lakewood Ranch, and the quick pace of sales in Lakewood National, Arbor Grande, and Savanna.
Woodleaf Hammock, which is just north of Arbor Grande, is set to open in late April 2019. A new, 55 and over community to compete with Del Webb, called Cresswind at Lakewood Ranch, will be opening in the coming months.
