If you're looking for a new home in the Lakewood Ranch area, we should tour Lakewood National.
Lakewood National is located east of Lorraine Road, on SR 70.
Here you'll find town homes and condos, along with single family homes. You can buy a Lakewood National property for under $200,000. However, golf course membership is required.
For the 4 story condos, there's a $3600 annual fee which pays for all the amenities including your golf course membership. A quarterly $632 fee maintains the common areas, plus a CDD fee of $1505 annually. Combined, these fees amount to $636 per month.
The newer 2 story condos have a $1783 annual CDD fee, plus the $3600 annual golf course fee, and a quarterly fee of $838. Combined, these fees amount to $728 per month.
Fees for the single family homes vary. For one series of homes, the CDD fee is $2110-$2625 annually, plus $3600 annually for the golf course membership, and HOA fees of up to $430 monthly. All together, these fees come to $949 monthly.
Please note that fees can vary based on location within Lakewood National, property style, and when it was built. Please use these fees as a guide.

The Lakewood National course is an Arnold Palmer design, and the golf club will include a dining facility. If you are looking for the ultimate golf course community, Lakewood National should be on your list.
