Yet another new community is set to announce shortly, and I've heard on good authority that the site being developed on Uihlein Road, north of SR-70 and Lakewood National, will be a Kolter Homes Cresswind product.
Kolter Homes is a large homebuilder in Georgia, the Carolinas, and Florida. They are well known in the Naples/Ft. Myers area, and they have major condo projects underway in downtown Sarasota: The Mark, the new Ritz Carlton Residences, and Artistry, a single family home community of 500 residences in Sarasota.
Kolter's Cresswind product line is similar to Pulte's Del Webb. Cresswind are active adult 55 and over communities known for their lavish, resort style amenities such as club houses and pools. They're also known for lots of activities and clubs, creating a sense of neighborhood.
There's no information officially released about Cresswind at Lakewood Ranch as of this writing. As your Lakewood Ranch new homes specialist, I'll keep you up to date on the latest.
