After Hurricane Ian | Lakewood Ranch Real Estate Market | David Barr Realtor

Updated: Oct 18

The Lakewood Ranch real estate market had started to shift before Ian hit. What do the changes to the market mean for you as a home buyer or home seller?

We have a lot of agents who moved here to take advantage of the pandemic. Before that, I had issues with agents copying my blogs and stealing my photos. So, I cant't tell you exactly what I think about where we're headed in the near future here.

Do you have a home to sell? The agent you select has to have a plan to maximize your return on investment.

Do you want to buy a home? If you can still sell your current home in the Northeast or Midwest quickly, now is a good time to get back in the market, especially if you want a new construction home. Builders are bringing back some incentives, and they are taking advantage of any slow down in sales activity to rebuild their inventory of "quick move in " homes.

Real estate is local, and we have a long list of factors affecting our market that you won't hear about in national media.

Non-Realtors can contact me by email lakewoodranchdavid@gmail.com or 941-993-6853 to discuss the market and your options.
